About the Green Button Alliance and a Look at our Financials
The Green Button Alliance (GBA) is comprised of leading utilities, governmental departments and agencies, solution providers, and affiliated organizations that collaborate to advance the Green Button initiative to enable consumers around the world to access and share their energy and water usage data for managing their consumption.
The GBA educates the market on the broad benefits of the Green Button standard, encourages standards-based application development, and administers the Green Button Certification Testing Program to accelerate the delivery of standardized Green Button technologies to consumers. The standard for Green Button is published by the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) as the REQ.21 Energy Services Provider Interface (ESPI).
“Green Button Alliance, Inc.” is a North Carolina 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation—incorporated in 2015 in the State of North Carolina, USA; filing federally in the USA as an IRC 501(c)(4) entity. IRS Form 990 tax information for U.S. federal Internal Revenue Service filings is available to the public for the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
