The U.S.- Canada Executive Energy Conference, hosted by the New England-Canada Business Council (NECBC), returns for its 34th year on November 12-13, 2026 at the Seaport Hotel, Boston

This annual event brings together over 200 senior executives, policymakers, and innovators from across the U.S. and Canada to address the most pressing issues of our energy system including grid reliability, clean energy integration, affordability, and cross-border collaboration.

In this challenging period in the U.S.-Canada relationship, now more than ever is the time for New England and Canada to stay engaged with each other as long-standing friends and partners working together for mutual benefit in securing North America's energy future.

About the Steve Leahy Energy & Innovation Collaboration Award 

The Steve Leahy Energy & Innovation Collaboration Award celebrates outstanding cross-border partnerships or projects that exemplify the spirit of US-Canada partnership in the energy sector. It recognizes initiatives that demonstrate innovation, environmental and economic impact, stakeholder collaboration, and a clear commitment to long-term sustainability.

By honoring projects that bridge national boundaries and exemplify the deep US-Canada relationship, the award seeks to foster a more innovative, integrated, resilient, and sustainable North American energy future. It aims to spotlight exemplary models of cooperation that can be replicated or set examples, while elevating the value of cross-border collaboration in addressing the most pressing energy challenges.
