How Grid Architecture Enables a Reliable and Resilient Power System of the Future:

Applying Grid Architecture concepts reduces the cost and barriers associated with the transformation of an ultra-complex system, one that requires the coordination of transmission, distribution, and customer systems into a reliable and flexible system to meet the country’s future electricity needs.

Attendees will learn key concepts and design principles from top grid architects who are members of the GridWise Architecture Council (GWAC).  This session will have an interactive component to share direction, feedback, and priorities regarding Grid Future State and Grid Architecture requirements.  Speakers will present on the technical, regulatory, and market inter-dependencies supporting extracting the highest value from Distributed Energy Resources (DERs).
